This is a brief case report on Chienomoto: a summary of observed feedback for a 7-year-old child with ADHD after 14 months of taking Chienomoto.

Baseline situation

7 years old, first grade, ADHD. Main presentations: regularly waking up at a fixed time around 1-2 a.m.; unable to sit still in class, had left his seat before; difficulty completing homework — of a four-page worksheet, he might only manage two or three questions; cried easily and got worked up easily; language expression fairly disorganized.

Regimen used

Start date: April 2025. Regimen: 1 packet of No. 3 in the morning, 1 packet of No. 2 in the evening. No Western medication was used at first; he had previously done about a year and a half of sensory integration intervention, which had already been stopped by the time of this report; at the time, the doctor recommended observing first, and considering further medication only if there was no change.

1-month feedback (May 2025)

Sleep: waking up startled at night decreased noticeably, and he could now largely sleep straight through until morning. Emotions: crying and defiance decreased, and he became easier to soothe. Attention and homework: he could complete a small portion of his homework on his own, was willing to do classwork, and his in-class test scores improved. Language: he could give a fairly complete account of a small event. Other: parents reported a good appetite, and his height increased by about 1 cm over the month.

14-month feedback (July 2026)

Sleep: sleep quality remained good. Emotions: noticeable improvement. Focus and classroom behavior: focus time clearly lengthened; from being unable to stay in class and leaving his seat, to being able to sit through an entire class period calmly; he could now take in part of what was taught in class. External feedback: he could give a fairly complete account of a small event.

Parent's feedback

"None of this is exaggerated — it's all very real. The teacher's objective assessment is even more convincing."
